How to get to the village of Virgoletta in Tuscany

When booking your flights you may want to consider flying in and out of different airports e.g. fly into Pisa and fly home from Venice or Rome (both about 4 hours driving).

Pisa is the nearest option; it is just one hour's drive north of Pisa door to door.

From London, you can easily fly into Bergamo, Genoa, Bologna with Ryanair or Easyjet from London Stansted or Luton.

From Dublin, you can fly into Bergamo, Genoa, Bologna or Milan (Linate/Malpensa) with Aer Lingus/Ryanair

From Belfast, there are direct flights to Bergamo with Jet2 and Milan Malpensa with Aer Lingus.

For international flights direct to Italy, it is about 2.5 hours drive/train from Milan airports (Linate is slightly closer than Malpensa, 1 hour from Pisa or 4 hours from Rome.

We recommend hiring a car for your visit. Virgoletta is only 5 minutes drive from Villafranca where there is a mainline railway station.
